Kristen Leigh Steen is an artist and pattern designer residing in Houston, Texas. After spending five years cultivating her brand as a calligrapher and wedding stationer, she discovered new inspiration through creating watercolor illustrations and designs. Kristen’s classic and playful style paired with fresh color palettes are a common theme throughout all of her unique designs- be it a new fabric design, wallpaper pattern, or custom project.

She is a self-taught creative whose artistry is influenced by the joyful curiosity of her three children. Her work is driven by the hope that her patterns celebrate the vibrant joy found in ordinary moments. When she’s not doodling or designing, Kristen enjoys her early bird mornings with big cups of coffee, long runs, and spending time with her family.
